Every year around the world, the first Sunday of May sees 100’s sometimes 1000’s of folk gathering in public venues, parks and centres to celebrate and partake in the healing power of joy.
Once again this year on the 3rd of May, at The V&A Waterfront, Cape Town will be part of this Uplifting occasion. There will be a massive laughter session and a lot of JOY focus on world peace...
(no matter what our colour, creed or culture - we all LAUGH IN THE SAME LANGUAGE, together in JOY we are united)

Sharing joy is a collective intention to make this world a happier, more positive and peaceful place.

The UPliftment Programme

The Upliftment Programme is a non-profit organisation rooted in the Western Cape. We now train volunteers to be “Agents of JOY” nationwide. Since our start in 2003, the UP has reached in excess of 5000 children. With our new PR drive and volunteer systems we equip our “Joy Agents” with the tools to live purposefully by sharing the healing power of joy; we intend to triple our outreach by 2010.
